Dr. Sungwha Kim has been selected to receive the Minister of Education's Commendation, the highest honor among the BK21 Outstanding Participant Awards. This marks the third time the BK21 Project in the Department of Education at Korea University has received the Minister of Education's Commendation, following Dr. Juyeon Song of the bMRI in 2016 and Dr. Taerim Lee of counseling in 2023.
