The Brain and Motivation Research Institute (bMRI) has achieved a significant milestone again by being selected for the National Research Foundation's "Humanities and Social Sciences Research Institute Support Program," which aims to support the specialization of domestic research institutes in the humanities and social sciences and help them produce outstanding research outcomes and become research hubs. The Brain and Motivation Research Institute has been chosen for this program after fierce competition and will receive an annual research fund of 260 million Korean Won (approx. 200,000 USD) each year for the next 6 years until August 2029. As part of this program, bMRI will hire three research professors and one administrative staff and provide a more stable environment for its graduate-student members to focus solely on their studies and research while also engaging in various international collaborative opportunities.
