Admin 2023.09.17 1344

The research team led by Dr. Kenneth Kiewra at the University of Nebraska-Lincoln recently published a qualitative study in Educational Psychology Review as part of an interview series on the secrets of achieving academic success in the field of educational psychology. This series featured interviews with four emerging scholars who were recipients of the Graduate Student Research Excellence Award from the American Educational Research Association (AERA)'s Division C.

Among the four awardees, three obtained their doctoral degrees from U.S. institutions such as Harvard University, University of California-Irvine, and the Ohio State University. Dr. Hyun Ji Lee from the Brain and Motivation Research Institute (bMRI) of Korea University is the sole recipient who earned her doctoral degree from a foreign university outside of the U.S.

We share this information to provide renewed confidence to those who have already become proud members of the bMRI and to offer valuable insights to those contemplating their choice of a graduate program in educational psychology. Go bMRI!
